ABOUT ANDY

Pastor. Athlete.
Not two things.

I'm a pastor, digital leader, and hybrid athlete training for a sub-1:30 half marathon at 42.

I've led worship, planted digital churches, run marathons, and owned a gym. Across all of it, one conviction held:
Formation doesn't happen in a single hour on Sunday.

It happens in every rep, every mile, every decision. The body and the soul are not separate projects.

This is where I want to show you how I’m building a life that actually holds together, with God at the center and with fitness as the tie that binds.

Train the
Whole Person.

Seven tensions every serious Christian athlete faces. One per day. Each one paired with Scripture, a training principle, and a single concrete action.

1 Discipline vs. StrivingEffort without obsession
2 Strength vs. SurrenderWhat strength actually means
3 Body vs. SoulWhy your training is theological
4 Rest vs. LazinessNot the same thing
5 Consistency vs. PerfectionThe next rep is all that matters
6 Solitude vs. CommunityBoth are necessary
7 Finishing vs. ArrivingThe race is future-tense. The training is now.

No spam. No manufactured inspiration. Just what is true and useful for the Christian who trains.
